COVID-19 Report for Milam County

 

Ladies & Gentlemen:

 

Today we report our 76th Milam County COVID-19 related death. We have reported 8 deaths in a little over two weeks. A vaccination will prevent one from becoming seriously ill or dying from the virus. Please encourage vaccinations and be safe.

We have no new cases to report and our confirmed active cases are down to 19.

 

Current Numbers:

2045 total cases

12 active cases (no change)

 

1615 Probable cases (Antigen detected test results, not included in total case count)

7 Active cases (minus 5)

 

19 active, confirmed cases in Milam County.

 

329 total hospitalized

5 currently hospitalized (no change)

76 fatalities (plus 1)

 

Five (5) individual(s) hospitalized is in serious condition (vents)

 

Testing: We will provide free COVID-19 testing in Cameron tomorrow at the Cameron Fire Station for any Milam County resident with COVID-19 symptoms, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
