Capitol Murder in Rockdale

On Saturday, November 16, 2024 at approximately 7:23 PM, officers with the Rockdale Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at a residence in the 400 block of East 4th Street, Rockdale, TX. Upon arrival, officers discovered one victim, identified as Trevor Everage (20), of Rockdale, with multiple gunshot wounds. Shortly after, another victim, identified as Christopher Flores (22) also of Rockdale, was located in the 200 block of 4th Street with multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the Rockdale Airport to be air lifted to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, TX, however Flores succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced deceased at the airport by Milam County Justice of the Peace Pct 4, Gary Northcott. The investigation has revealed the shooting was targeted and was in regard to an attempted robbery. Arrest warrants have been issued for the 16-year-old juvenile suspect for the offenses of Capital Murder, a Capital Felony, and Aggravated Assault with a Dealy Weapon, a 2nd degree felony. Due to the suspect’s age, his name is not being released at this time.
