Rockdale schools close until Tuesday, Jan. 18, due to COVID cases

Rockdale ISD Families,

As we have shared before, we are continuously monitoring the COVID cases on our campuses in order to plan the best course of action for our students and staff.  Today numbers have reached the levels that we previously determined warrant school closure. All Rockdale ISD campuses will be closed to students on Thursday, January 13 and Friday, January 14.   Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 18 since Monday is a scheduled holiday.  

Information about extracurricular activities will be shared by the athletic department later today.  Little Dribblers practices and games will be postponed for one week.  

These decisions are hard to make and are reached after careful consideration of all factors.  We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause to you and your families.
