Thorndale man sentenced to 30 years

Today in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20^th District Court of Milam County, Patrick Michael Anness, 52, of Thorndale was sentenced to 30 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after pleading guilty to a First-Degree Felony, Sexual Performance by Child Under 14.

The court heard testimony from Special Agent, Richard Rieger of CID, DPS during the sentencing hearing, who was the primary agent that investigated this case. 

            Mr. Anness must serve one half before becoming eligible for parole.

            First Assistant District Attorney Brian Price prosecuted the state's cases.
