Barton sentenced to 45 years

December 1, in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th District Court, Jason Corey Barton, 38, of Rockdale was sentenced to forty-five (45) years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after a contested sentencing hearing. Mr. Barton previously plead guilty to a First-Degree Felony, Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, involving a 13-year-old victim. The Defendant must serve 22 ½ years in prison before becoming eligible for parole
