First off some important information. AT&T has been suffering with a major outage for three weeks with no estimate about when service will be restored. This has caused Rockdale Christian Service’s food pantry to be without phone and internet service. If you need assistance they recommend that you use their Facebook messenger until the problem is solved. Please pass the word around to people you know who use the pantry.

It’s been a hard four months. Do you ever have those seasons? It seems like death is always hanging around. If I never go to another funeral I’ll be fine. The challenges are endless and often without any clear answers. You can’t make right out of wrong, when sin is it you can’t win it. Lipstick on a pig is just lipstick on a pig. No offense to pigs.

This week I attended a meeting in Taylor with some of the Samsung representatives to learn more about the schedule for the new Samsung facility in Taylor. Some of the dirt work has already begun and by mid 2023 there could be as many as 10,000 individuals working to build the new facility! Clearly this will provide a tremendous amount of jobs and opportunity for everyone in Central Texas.
