The Milano Volunteer Fire Department crowned Vivian Simpson Miss Flame for 2022-2023. Fire chief, Travis Yoakum selected the winner. Vivian will represent Milano VFD in both the July Fourth and Christmas parades, and assist the firemen with fire-safety week at Milano Elementary.
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension observes June as National Safety Month. The month is dedicated to preventing causes of workplace injury. The 21st annual MARC Ride will be held on Saturday, June 11, at The Ranch. The Bad to the Bone Riders holds this benefit each year and it is the largest yearly donation received by the MARC Center.
