American Legion plans Sunday benefit for Starr

American Legion Carlyle Post 358 in Rockdale will have a “turkey shoot” June 6 at 2534 N. FM 487.
This event is to benefit Charles Starr, someone who has helped many people in this area and who now needs help.
Gates will open at 11 a.m. and competition is to begin at noon. The cost is $5 per round and the winner of each round gets 50% of the take with the rest going to Starr.
There will also be a drawing for a Yildez TK-36 410 shotgun. The winning ticket for the shotgun will be drawn at the end of the turkey shoot.
