ANOTHER COVID-19 DEATH IN MILAM

Three new cases reported

From County Judge Steve Young Monday night:

I regret to report another COVID death in Milam County.  This was a senior male resident of the county from the 76520-zip code (Cameron area). This is a grim reminder that the virus is alive and well.  In addition, we have three new PCR confirmed cases and 1 new probable (antigen) case to report.  We tested ten individuals in Rockdale Monday and one person tested positive.  No one was admitted to a hospital and two were discharged.

Tuesday we will test in Thorndale from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  If you are a Milam County resident with symptoms, please come see us for a free, rapid test.

Do your civic duty and wear a mask.
