BIG MILESTONE: NO NEW CASES TO REPORT THURSDAY

Finally, some good COVID-19 news. County Judge Steve Young said late Thursday night there were no new cases of the virus reported for Milam County during the past 24 hours. It's the first time that's happened since the early days of the pandemic. (Last weekend the state did not issue a report over a two-day period. That's different from a report listing no new cases). Here's Young's daily report: " I am happy to report that we have no new confirmed cases of the virus to report today. In addition we discharged four cases and no one was admitted to a hospital."
