CASES CONTINUE TO EASE; ONLY ONE NEW ON THURSDAY

From County Judge Steve Young Thursday night:

We have one new confirmed case of the virus to report in Milam County Thursday  and three were discharged.  One person was admitted to the hospital and one was discharged.  We tested in Cameron, but the turnout was light.  Friday we will test in Buckholts from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

 Governor Abbott eased a lot of the restrictions pursuant to Executive Orders 30 & 31.  Most businesses can now operate at 75% capacity and visits are permitted to rest homes.  Bars are still closed.  We will more on this later.

Milam County cases:

1. Confirmed cases 479 up 1
2. Active cases 18 down 2
3. Probable cases 47 up 1 with 12 active
4. Monitored individuals 77 up 8
5. Hospitalized 5 down 1 (four of these patients are on ventilators)
6. Deaths 5 – no change
