County continues work against COVID-19

Milam County is administering vaccinations to homebound people today.

On Wednesday, the county will be helping in Williamson County.

Thursday, the county has a clinic planned to give 500 second round Moderna shots in Rockdale.

Friday, Milam County inmates will be given shots and from noon to 4 p.m., the county will administer first round Moderna shots at the Milam County Health Clinic in Cameron.  We will take walk-ins as well.  But you can call 254 697 7000 for an appointment.

1430 total PCR – up 2

8 active PCR cases – up 1

1087 antigen cases- no change

3 active antigen cases – down 1

Total active cases in Milam County – 11– no change

6 hospitalized – up 1

Total hospitalized since the pandemic began -200– up 1

3 on a ventilator – up 1

47 fatalities- no change
