County reports 41 new cases of COVID-19

Milam County reports there are 41 new cases with 21 PCR cases and 20 probable cases.
"We discharged nine cases for a net increase of 32 new confirmed cases in Milam County, bringing the total to a record high of 226 confirmed active cases in the county. In addition, we had two individuals hospitalized and one discharged for a total of 21 currently hospitalized. Nine of those are on ventilators," said County Judge Steve Young in an email.

- 118 active cases (plus 16)
- 1,412 Probable cases (antigen detected test results, not included in total case count)
- 108 Active cases (plus 16)
- 226 confirmed active cases in Milam County
- 293 total hospitalized
- 21 currently hospitalized (plus 1)
- 59 fatalities (no change)
- All residents hospitalized are unvaccinated.
- Eleven individuals hospitalized are in serious condition (vents)
- Testing - 86 tested 20 positive = 23.26%
