COVID-19 death toll climbs to 56
The 56th Milam County resident has died from the effects of COVID-19.
"It just goes on and on," County Judge Steve Young wrote in relating the seventh death attributed to COVID-19 since the start of July.
The county now has seven new PCR cases and 12 discharged PCR cases. There are 34 new probable cases and 30 discharged probable cases for a net decrease of one person. Three individuals were hospitalized and two were discharged.
Ninty five individuals got tested Thursday with 32 positive results for a 33.68%.
