COVID-19 testing continues in county

 Thursday 26 individuals were tested in Cameron, with 7 positive results. Since Sept. 1,  there have been 2,533 individuals tested with 703 positive results for a  28% positivity rate. Today's testing is in Buckholts at the Buckholts VFD from 8: a.m. to noon. Milam County residents with COVID symptoms, may come for a free rapid test.

"We hope to have fresh numbers soon. We are still working out the kinks with the state as we have turned over our contact tracing to the state, so we can utilize the Health Department for vaccinations," County Judge Steve Young said in his report
