EIGHT NEW CASES ON FRIDAY

  From County Judge Steve Young on Friday evening:

Today we have 8 new confirmed cases to report.  This is double what we had yesterday.  One person was released from the hospital today, but one of the three left in the hospital is still on a ventilator.  Nationwide the CDC predicted today there may be another 30,000 deaths in the next 3 weeks.

Milam County:

1. Confirmed cases 314 – up 8
2. Active cases 30 – up 3
3. Probable cases 7 – up 1
4. Monitored by the Health Department 50 – down 4
5. Hospitalized 3 – down 1.
6. Deaths 3 – no change
