Thursday's testing adds new COVID-19 cases

Today there are 23 new active cases to report. Nine new PCR cases and fourteen new antigen cases. Eight PCR cases and twenty-one antigen cases were discharged from the active list.  There are 131 active infections in the county, down six from yesterday. In addition, one individual was admitted to a local hospital.    Forty-five individuals were tested in Milano on Thursday with thirteen positive results.  In the past 23 days of testing, there have been 904 individuals in Milam County with 232 positive results with a positivity rate of 25%.

Today's testing is in Buckholts at the Buckholts VFD. If you are a Milam County resident with COVID symptoms, free tests are available.

6.   Currently monitored individuals 277 up 30

7.   Cumulative monitored individuals – 1,911

8.   Hospitalizations 10 – up 1 (two persons on a ventilator)
