WEEKEND COVID-19 REPORT QUESTIONED

Milam County Judge Steve Young said no new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the state over the weekend. "I think there was some sort of a mixup by the state," he said. "The same thing happened last weekend."

Cumulative case count remains 346 with 32 active.

He said the Milam County Health Department is monitoring 65 people, with 13 probable cases.

There are three Milam residents in the hospital and three Milam residents have died.

Judge Young said free testing will be available by the state Thursday at the Thorndale VFW from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
