Those traveling west of Rockdale along US 79 have probably noticed “new” signs and some heavy equipment along the roadway.

In the presidential balloting the team of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence smothered the Democrat’s Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris 7,950 to 2,475. The Republican pair got 75 percent of the votes beating their winning percent of 74 in 2016.
4 new COVID-19 cases reported

Testing on Tuesday found four new PCR cases, but no new probable cases. In Thorndale 17 people were tested and all were negative.
