Brookshire Bros. has donated $3,850 to the Rockdale Christian Services Food Pantry. The donation was part of the company’s Together We Can Do More program in which Brookshire Bros. matched contributions made by customers. Store manager Alyssa Gann (L) presented the check to Patsy Brymer of Rockdale Christian Services.

American Legion Carlyle Post 358 recently drew the winning tickets for its gift card fundraiser. Winners were: $400, Tony Ellis, Rockdale; $300, Homer Rutledge, Thorndale; $200, Timmy Guthrie Jr., Rockdale; $200, Will’s Garage, Thorndale.
