Volunteers were taking no chances Thursday as the Central Texas Food Bank visited the KC Hall parking lot for its second of two free food distributions in May. Officials continue to ask all residents to wear masks when they leave their homes. Six-foot distancing was enforced and those picking food never had to leave their vehicles as 589 persons in 271 families were served. The sessions are projects of Rockdale Christian Services.
