It was the most unique Easter in Rockdale history Sunday with social-distancing order in place. First Christian Church held a “drive-up” services, totally within the guidelines set down by county commissioners and Gov. Greg Abbott. Pastor Andy Pate and Elder Sherwin Boyd conducted the services from the church steps while parishioners worshiped from the church parking lot across Bell Street, never leaving their vehicles. “We also had a lot of people drive by to view the cross during the afternoon,” Rev.
