Rockdale Earth Day will hold 2024 Home Garden Tour, an exploration of some of Rockdale’s finest home gardens on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
NORFOLK, VA – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced f ive members of the 2024 Hall of Fame Class, where native Rockdalian and former Howard Univer sit y track coach and athletic director, the late Bill Moultrie was among this year’s honorees.
The Rockdale ISD Education Foundation (RISDEF) announced that it has received a $1,000 gift from Alpha Tau Delta to meet the needs of teachers and students in the Rockdale Independent School District. “This transformational gift sends two bold messages; that teachers in RISD are valued and that Alpha Tau Delta is serious about setting a tremendous example for others to follow in our community,” said Kasey Delz, marketing director. The Rockdale ISD Education Foundation is hosting its annual donor luncheon on Friday.
