In the last article we talked a lot about investment risk and why that is a bad thing. To recap, it’s bad because investment avoids risk and capital (money) flows to security. We briefly mentioned some of the things that your local governments are doing to lessen this risk.
At Monday night’s city council meeting Rockdale Police Chief Jerry Meadors introduced two new Rockdale Police Officers. This year’s city budget includes money for two more new officers The General Land Office gave the city a $4.3 million grant for drainage issues and the biggest ones will repair drainage at US 79 and Meadow Drive, US 79 at Childress, Seventh Street at MLK and West Belton Avenue.
