Having a couple drinks with colleagues after a long day at the office used to be ritual for many Americans prior to the pandemic. However, now that things have slowed down significantly compared to the not-so-distant past, and people are working from home, the concept of after-work drinks seems like a distant memory. Despite not being able to enjoy cocktails with co-workers over the past year or so, are employees finding themselves with more free time?

Digging a Waco day trip

The Mammoth National Monument in Waco is the only recorded site of a nursery herd of Pleistocene mammoths in the country, according to the National Parks Service. City Council takes steps to annex Industrial Park into city limits

Monday night in City Hall, Rockdale City Council members approved the first reading of an ordinance that would put a little over 55 acres inside the city limits. That land is part of the MDD’s Industrial Park and also voted to hold a public hearing on annexing the remaining 100 acres of the park into the city’s limits.
