The Rockdale Municipal Development District board of directors will hold a special meeting Thursday to discuss plans to hire an executive director.

District 8, of which Milam County is a part, will hold a Young Farmer and Rancher meeting on that date at Putters & Gutters, 2341 US 281.
Rockdale Earth Day is looking for yards in the community to consider for “Yard of the Month.” The program will be implemented through September.
