A 21-year-old Rockdale man was arrested Thursday for an outstanding warrant out of the Milam County Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation, a local warrant for theft between $100 and $750 and a charge of possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram).
The Rockdale Senior Center is once again open to the public and will be serving noon meals each week Monday through Thursday. Management requests that those wishing to dine at the center to call at least the day before they plan to come in for a meal. The center is still looking for volunteer staffing and once all that is in place other activities such as bingo will resume.
