A late-afternoon wreck Saturday on US 79 near downtown caused a detour while officers cleared the scene of the accident that sent one woman, complaining of neck pain, to a hospital.

The Rockdale Chamber of Commerce has a new member Treat Yourself Boutique. It is at 1703 W. Cameron Ave in Rockdale, is a one-stop shop with 13 different vendors. Treat Yourself Boutique is one of eight local retailers participating in the Chamber's "Hop & Shop" on April 3. Pick up a "Bunny Trail" card at the Chamber's farmers’ market from 8 a.m. to noon and visit treat yourself to a chance to win gift cards from retailers and member restaurants.
