CAMERON—Helen Annie Anderle Richter, 100, of Cameron died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in a Cameron nursing facility.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 4, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron. Burial followed at St. Monica’s Cemetery.

Rosary was recited Sunday, June 3, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

Mrs. Richter was born April 18, 1918, in Milam County near Buckholts to William and Pauline (Blosch) Anderle.

She attended school in Ad Hall and then CH Yoe High from 1936-1937.

She married Raymond Eugene Richter on Oct. 25, 1941, and he preceded her in death in 2000.

Mrs. Richter had worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone.

She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron.

Mrs. Richter was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Richter Hall.

Survivors are two sons, Carroll Richter and Ricky Richter, both of Cameron; and seven grandchildren, Janet Hundle, Bert Richter, Jeff Hall, Paul Richter, Choya Vaculin, Megan Hurst and Mallori Hawkins; also, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
