Bob McCord

Funeral services for Bob McCord, 62, of Round Rock were held Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Minister Jason Hollinger and Cotton Hubert officiating. Burial was at Minerva Cemetery in Minerva.

Mr. McCord died Sunday, Feb. 3, at Hilltop Village in Kerrville. He was born Jan. 7, 1957, in Stamford to Robert L. and Maria (Matthews) McCord.

Mr. McCord was a graduate of Crockett High School in Austin. He worked as a construction supervisor with Bailey Elliott Construction in Austin.

Mr. McCord had lived in Round Rock since 1996.

He built and flew radio-controlled airplanes and flew drones. He also enjoyed his 4X4 trucks and playing cards.

Mr. McCord was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. McCord.

Survivors are his mother, Maria Hubert and husband Charles of Minerva; a sister, Susan McCord of Boerne; and a nephew, Scott Skyles of Kentucky.
