Funeral services for Tammy Lynn Storey, 51, of Milano were held Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Milam County Cowboy Church in Rockdale with Pastor Greg Spears officiating. Burial was at Milano Cemetery in Milano.
Mrs. Storey died Thursday, April 4, at her home in Milano surrounded by family.
She was born July 27, 1967, in Austin to Elery Edward and Linda Sue (Cooper) White Jr.
She was a graduate of Travis High School in Austin.
On March 28, 1987, she married Gregory James Storey Sr. in Austin. They moved to Milano, where Tammy lived the past 27 years.
Mrs. Storey was the owner of Smokin’ Oak BBQ in Milano, where she was a big part of the community.
She attended Milam County Cowboy Church in Rockdale.
Mrs. Storey was preceded in death by her husband, Greg Storey Sr., on Oct. 20, 2008, and her father, Elery Edward White Jr. in August 2004.
Survivors are her children, Amanda Lynn Storey, Malinda Louise Storey and Gregory James Storey, all of Milano; her mother and stepfather, Linda Sue and Malcolm Light of Dripping Springs; a brother, Bubba White and wife Lee Anne of Austin; two sisters, Paula Miller and husband David of Austin, Ruth Lunday and husband Jack of Dripping Springs; and her nieces and nephews, Bubba White, Randy White, Dillon Miller, Ashley Miller, Dalton Lunday and wife Julianne and Alyssa Lunday.
Pallbearers were Gary Steinbecker, Thomas Harris, Jr., T.J. Hollingsworth, Michael Wall, Richard Melton and Luke Hollingsworth.
Honorary pallbearers were Thomas Harris, Sr., Calvin Whiteley, Ben King, Alvie King, Kyle King and Bubba King.
