CASE REPRIEVE LOOKS TO BE OVER

Email advises newspaper of 29th COVID-19 incident

It appears Milam County's week-long break from new COVID-19 cases is over.

The Reporter received an email at mid-morning Thursday advising that a Milam woman had been admitted to a Georgetown hospital and was diagnosed with the virus.

That would mark the 29th case in the county, and the first since May 21, exactly one week ago.

The Reporter has contacted county officials to ask if they can confirm the report.
