Alvin Benjamin Fisk III, 68, of Rockdale, formerly of Austin, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at his home in Rockdale.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Brother Todd Hall of San Marcos officiating. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.

Visitation was set for 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Mr. Fisk was born July 15, 1952, in Waco to Norma Jean (Watson) and Alvin Benjamin Fisk Jr.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retiring as a staff sergeant on Sept. 1, 1992, after 20 years.

Mr. Fisk then worked as a bridge and road inspector for the Texas Department of Transportation and retired in 2012 after 20 years.

On May 7, 1977, he married Olivia Garcia in Austin. They lived in Rockdale the past four years.

Mr. Fisk was a family man and was involved with the activities of his children, including being a member of the Band Boosters.

Surviving are his wife, Olivia Fisk of Rockdale; sons Ryan B. Fisk of New York City, Travis E. Fisk and wife Megan of Houston; daughter Erin Fisk of Bryan; sister Sue Dickinson of Iredell; and a grandchild, Julian Fisk.
