COVID-19 cases set single day record
Monday set a high mark of COVID-19 cases in a single day. We have a record a record number of new cases for Milam County, County Judge Steve Young said in his daily report. "We have nine PCR and nineteen new probable cases, for a record high of twenty-eight new cases in a single day
Forty-five individuals in Rockdale were tested Monday and seventeen of those were positive. "We now have fifty-six active cases in Milam County! In just one week our active case count has increased by thirty-seven. We must do better. We must distance and wear a mask. This is our only protection. Know that when you are out in public, the virus is there also. Please protect yourself and others by keeping your distance and wearing a mask," Young said.
