Boil water notice

Rockdale is under a boil water notice. While the water in Rockdale is back online and the Allday tower is catching up.  The Utility Department employees have been addressing all the issues:  rolling power brownouts, frozen lines, frozen valves, frozen gages that feed pressure information into our control system and multiple other issues.   

Due to the low water pressure, the city of Rockdale is issuing a boil water notice as required by TCEQ regulations. This notice will be in effect until we are able to get water samples safely to our independent laboratory for testing. Based on current weather forecasts, the earliest date for rescinding the boil water would be sometime late Saturday.
