April 21 is the 185th anniversary of San Jacinto Day, and you can experience the history of the Battle of San Jacinto virtually or in person. The San Jacinto Celebration Under the Star event is Saturday at San Jacinto Battleground and will feature living history demonstrations, a petting zoo, food trucks, and more. 

Join the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site virtually for the premiere of its online video series: San Jacinto: A Lone Star Shines. On April 19–22 at noon central, the site will release a short digital film on its Facebook page depicting four pivotal scenes from the Battle of San Jacinto and the fight for freedom.
