'Beginning' sessions planned at church

San Gabriel Baptist Church will host a Christian education DVD series Wednesday evenings beginning May 12 continuing through May and into June. The series is "Beginnings:  Exploring Biblical Creation" by Eric Hovind.  Beginnings, the curriculum that will educate, entertain and prepare for the most pressing topic of our day—creation versus evolution!. The sessions are, in weekly order: Session 1, They’re Both Religions; Session 2, How Old Is It?; Session 3, It Was Good; Session 4, Dinosaurs With Man; Session 5, Fact vs. Faith; Session 6, The Truth.

Beginnings is a creation experience for small groups, churches and individuals from all walks of life. Hovind, explores the age-old questions of life, the evidence for a young earth and how dinosaurs fit in with the Bible. The included guide provides an introduction to each lesson, creative challenges, great discussion questions and practical ways to apply each lesson to everyday life.

Session will begin at 7 p.m. and will include prayer time, a light supper, the viewing and discussion of the video lesson. Any one interested in sharing these learnings are invited to attend.  San Gabriel Baptist Church is located at 163 CR421A just off FM 486 and 6 miles north of Thorndale.
