Milam County is only nine cases away from December 2020 record number of cases

Today, we have 55 new cases to report and 29 cases to discharge, leaving 258 confirmed active cases in Milam County.  At the height of the Delta variant (December 2020) we reached 267 confirmed, active cases.  One person was hospitalized and one was discharged. 

 We tested 104 individuals with 45 positives or 43% positivity rate.  The rate is down slightly from Tuesday.  

 We still do not have any infusion drugs.  Hopefully, next week.

The numbers:

We had 9 new PCR cases, 8 discharged cases

46 new probable cases, 29 discharged probable cases

Also had 1 individuals admitted to the hospital and 1 individuals discharged from the hospitalized. Locally confirmed 0 Milam County COVID-19 fatality.
