Allie A. “Siscero” Key, 85, of Rockdale died Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Winnie L Nursing Home in Cameron.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale with Pastor Mark Nygard officiating.

Mrs. Key was born Sept. 11, 1936, to James H. “Snooks” and Maezelle (Touchstone) Yoakum in Rockdale.

She graduated from Rockdale High School in 1954.

Mrs. Key worked at Ideal Cleaners and Yogis Drive In.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, working in her yard, playing bingo at the KC Hall and, in her younger years, league bowling.

On Sept. 13, 1991, she married Clint Key at First Baptist Church in Rockdale.

Mrs. Key was preceded in death by her husband, Clint Key; her parents, James “Snooks” and Maezelle Yoakum; and a brother, Jimmy Yoakum.

Survivors are two daughters, Nancy Banks and husband Marshall of Thorndale, Karen Banks and husband Chuck of Garner; her grandchildren, Dusti Pesl and husband James, Kelsey Lehmann-Shipp, Tanner Banks and wife Layne, Emily Hirt and Jami Banks; her great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Carli and Caitlin Pesl, Lair Shipp and Easton Mason; and two nieces, Phyl Hiney and husband Joey, Katherine Culpepper and husband Wayne.
