Skubal

Jacob Clemens Skubal, 37, of Caldwell, formerly of Rockdale, died Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at his home in Caldwell.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Deacon Don Simms and Pastor Shaun Skubal officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.

Visitation will also be Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m.

Mr. Skubal was born June 3, 1985, in Austin to Mark and Gladys (Corder) Skubal.

He was a 2003 graduate of Rockdale High School.

He loved offshore fishing, working with his hands, making knives, painting and sketching, and surviving on the beach. He also had a passion for motorcycles, dirt bikes and fast cars.

Mr. Skubal was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ibra and Pauline Corder, and his paternal grandfather, Lambert Skubal Sr.

Survivors are his parents, Mark and Gladys Skubal; his fiancé, Breili Fischer; his children, Tegan Jolee Skubal and Jace Skubal; a sister, Meghan Clark; and his grandmother, Florian Skubal; also, a niece, a number of special friends, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
