A memorial service for Amy Beth DeLuna Gainey Erwin, 49, of Gause will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at Wellspring Community Church, formerly Gause Full Gospel Church, 14069 E. US 79, two miles west of Gause. Pastor Nicholas Burns will officiate.

Mrs. Erwin died July 1 in Gause.

She was born July 18, 1972, in Fort Worth to Rodolfo “Rudy” DeLuna and Gloria Beth Lange.

She married Roland Earl Erwin on Sept. 14, 2019, in Gause.

Mrs. Erwin was a home health provider who cared for anyone with love and compassion.

She was raised in Wellspring Community Church and had a strong faith in God.

Mrs. Erwin graduated from Milano High School, was privileged to play the flute in the first Milano Band and enjoyed her years there because she loved music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gainey; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Ratha Zedlitz Lange; paternal grandparents, Dolores and Maria Rodriguez DeLuna; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors are her husband, Roland Earl Erwin; four stepchildren, Traci, Kimmi, Roland Jr. and Rex Erwin; her mother and stepfather, Gloria Beth Lange and William “Bubba” Frey of Gause; her father and stepmother, Rudy and DeLena DeLuna of Overton; two brothers, Caleb and wife Alison DeLuna of Millican, Joshua and wife Ali DeLuna of Richland, Washington; three stepsisters, Brittney Smith of Carriage, Amy Beth Frey of Bellingham, Washington, Laura Frey and husband Ethan Hollingsworth of Brenham; two stepbrothers, Billy and wife Amanda Frey of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ricky and Staci Frey of Brenham; her caregivers, Hillary Yeomans and Marantha Stratta of Bryan/ College Station; an aunt, Gloria Lange-Price (Aaron) of Waco; and an uncle, Philip Tremont of Dallas; also, 16 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
