Frank James Williams, 71, of Rockdale was born Nov. 26, 1950, to Henry and Martha (Jackson) Williams
He was called home on Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at St. David’s Hosp i t a l in Austin.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at New Jerusalem Christian Center in Rockdale. Burial will follow at New Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.
Mr. Williams professed his hope in Christ at an early age and remained a member of New Jerusalem Christian Center until his death.
He attended Rockdale Independent School District and graduated from Rockdale High School.
He later joined the military (Army) and served two years.
After serving in the military, he was employed at Alcoa, where he retired after 31 years.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Martha Williams, and a sister, Berthel Tasby.
Survivors are his wife, Brenda Williams of Rockdale; four children, Catrina Williams of Austin, Nikkie Williams of Phenix City, Alabama, Barbara Williams of Austin, and Roxy Page-Jones (Mack) of Cameron; seven grandchildren, Trintel Williams (Kamisha), Alyncia Williams, Tallen Williams, Namon Lewis Jr., Nicholas Lewis, Xavier Campbell and Kylan Jones; five great-grandchildren, Na’Jon Williams, Naheem Williams, Naliyah Williams, Nahmari Williams and Nova Williams; and two sisters, Dorothy Williams and Edna Pearl Williams, both of Rockdale; also, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of family and friends.
