Mr. Duran

Raymond “Ray” Duran 57, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Phillips & Lucke y Funeral Home w ith Bro. Dav id Deheart officiating.

Mr. Duran was born June 26, 1965, in McKinney to Majin Duran Jr. and Molly Duran.

He was a crane operator for many years.

He enjoyed playing golf on Sundays and was the ultimate Cowboys’ fan.

He married the love of his life, Lisa, on Sept. 15, 2012.

Mr. Duran was preceded in death by his father, Majin Duran Jr.; a sister, Rose M. Whitlow; and many other family members.

Survivors are his wife, Lisa M. Duran; a son, Sam Silva and wife Leslie; two daughters, Kayla Silva and husband Daniel, and Patricia Duran; his mother, Molly Duran; five brothers, Edward Duran and wife Kandy, Martin Duran and wife Lilly, Gabriel Duran and wife Brittany, Rickey Duran and Leonard Duran; and two sisters, Diana Duran and Rebecca Rendon and husband Carlos Sr.; also, eight grandchildren.
