P F LUGE RV I L L E— George Frederick Lawrance, 83, of Thorndale passed away March 15, 2023.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 N. Interstate 35, in Pflugerville.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 31, at the funeral home.

Following the service will be a committal at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery, 13700 North Interstate 35, in Pflugerville.

Mr. Lawrance was born in Trenton, New Jersey.

He went in the U.S. Army for a number of years and specialized in Hawk missiles and tot classes.

He moved to the west coast, worked in machine shops, started his own business called Pacific Superior Imports (later changed to Shade Kind PSI), which he ran for 50-plus years.

Mr. Lawrance was preceded in death by his mother, Elsy (Smith) Lawrance, father Frederick W. Lawrance and brother Ronald A. Lawrance.

He is survived by his life partner of 53 years, Paul Wiersma.
