Olive Dickerson Olive, 101, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, at her home in Thrall.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at the Lawrence Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Olive was born Sept. 5, 1922, in Thorndale to Gus and Bessie Elizabeth (Smith) Dickerson.

She married Willard Marvin Olive on Aug. 14, 1943.

She was a homemaker and rancher, and a member of the Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church.

Olive was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willard Olive in 1990; a brother, Graham Dickerson in 2016; and a niece, Beth Luker in 2010.

Survivors are her daughter, Cindy Jeffreys; two grandsons, Steven Jeffreys and wife Heather, and Justin Jeffreys; two great-grandsons, Keith and Paxton Jeffreys; and two nephews, Gordon Dickerson and wife Harvene, and Wayne Luker; also, numerous great- and great-greatnieces and nephews.
