Kenneth Andrews, 75 of Cameron died Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 at his home in Cameron.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 24, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Clint Hopson officiating. Burial was at Marlow Cemetery near Cameron.
Mr. Andrews was born Aug. 31, 1943, in Tangle-wood to Ernest Edward and Thelma Josephine (Gray) Andrews.
He attended school in Sharp.
On March 6, 1964, he married Mary Laverne Hal-pain in Cameron.
Mr. Andrews lived the past nine years in Cameron and was formerly of Thrall.
He was a farmer and rancher. He also was a Rock-dale police officer from 1971 to 1972 and worked with the ambulance service. He worked 15 years at Bud Adams Ranch, 21 years with Stiles Farm and five years with Milam County Livestock Auction. He retired in 2009.
Mr. Andrews was a member of Lilac Baptist Church.
He enjoyed working cattle, fishing and spending time with family.
Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Andrews; his father, Ernest Edward Andrews; his mother, Thelma Josephine Widner; three brothers, Thomas Byrd, Haskle Andrews, James Widner; and four sisters, Mary Jo Henson, Marthanell Balusek, Mamie White and Bessie Marie Andrews.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Laverne Andrews of Cameron; a daughter, Carolyn Davis of Arizona; a son, Kenneth Wayne Andrews and wife Kelly of Midlothian; five brothers, Clifford Andrews and wife Virginia of Missouri, Johnny Andrews of Cameron, Julius Widner and wife Sue of Thorndale, J.W. Byrd and wife Bonnie of Oklahoma, Robert Andrews of Arkansas; two sisters, Annie Lee Treadwell of Dennison, Pamela Zwecker and husband Jerry of Cypress; five grandchildren, Kristy Haskins and husband Kenny, Corey Davis, Celeste Davis, Clayton Andrews and Avery Andrews; and a great-grandchild, Emmitt Haskins.
Pallbearers were James Jonas, Donnie Tucker, Justin Tucker, Jeremy Vaculin, Paul Miles and Tom Ingalsbe.
