Mr. Angell

CAMERON—Ferrol Ozell Angell, 84, of Cameron died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial followed at Walkers Creek Cemetery near Cameron.

Mr. Angell was born Nov. 23, 1938, in Cameron to C.O. and Marietta (Boyd) Angell.

He graduated from C.H. Yoe High School and after graduation enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.

He married Betty Shuffield on Nov. 24, 1962.

Mr. Angell was the longtime business owner/operator of Milam Grain Co. in Cameron.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Etta Mae Angell and Mary Faye Gwartney; one brother, Richard Eugene Angell; and one son-in-law, Ben Vogelsang.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Angell of Cameron; three daughters, Rachelle Vogelsang, Donna Mueck and husband Ernest, Tammy Wimmer and husband James, all of Cameron; eight grandchildren, Brent Vogelsang (Kim), Phillip Vogelsang (Sarah), Matthew Vogelsang (Katie), Jenna Mueck (Trey), Austin Mueck, Makenzie Smith (Daman), Amelia Wimmer and Saydi Wimmer; and eight great-grandchildren, Cambry James Mueck, Judah Vogelsang, Noah Vogelsang, Norah Vogelsang, Katie Jo Vogelsang, Jaeger Vogelsang, Oakley Vogelsang, Ben Jakob Vogelsang.
