Arthur John Nieto

Arthur John Nieto, 85, of Rockdale died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Services were held Saturday, Feb. 13, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Father Pedro Castillo officiating.

Mr. Nieto was born March 29, 1935, in Ohio City, Ohio, to Pedro Jose and Rebecca Maria (Velez) Nieto.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. On Sept. 7, 1957, he married

On Sept. 7, 1957, he married Margaret Ann Ortiz in Hicksville, Ohio.

Mr. Nieto was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Rebecca Nieto; and his wife, Margaret Ortiz Nieto in 2014; also, four sons and a daughter.

Survivors are a daughter, Kathy Nieto of Rockdale; two sons, Edward Nieto, Paul Nieto and wife Jessica of Rockdale; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Nieto of Rockdale; also, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Edward Nieto, Paul Nieto, Sergio Nieto, Jeffrey Nieto, Adrian Nieto, Victor Nieto and Phillip Nieto.
