LEXINGTON—Funeral services for Letitia (Tish) Ann Jordan Black were held at First Baptist Church of Lexington on Tuesday, Sept. 18 with Pastor Chris Bruce officiating.

Mrs. Black died Saturday, Sept. 15, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born Nov. 16, 1930, in Houston to Maude Mae (Farmer) and William Henry Snow.

She moved to Lexington as a young child and graduated from Lexington schools.

She married J.R. Jordan in 1948 and had four children. After J.R. died in 1976, she married Bill Black in 1978.

Mrs. Black was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Lexington and sang alto in the choir and a trio for many years.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and she loved food—she was always happy to cook a meal or share a recipe or try a new restaurant.

Mrs. Black was preceded in death by J.R. Jordan, four sisters, a brother and her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Bill Black; her children, Gary Jordan (Cyndy), Linda Schwertner (Ray), Janet Jordan, and Julie Jordan (Stephanie); and seven grandchildren, Wendy Adams, Marcy Moorhead, Russell Schwertner, Charles Pircher Jr., Brandon Schwertner, Tish Hicks, Cody Schwertner; also 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lexington or to a charity of your choice.
