Brenda K. Boyd Isaacs
Brenda K. Boyd Isaacs passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2024.
A funeral ser v ice was held Monday, May 6, at First Baptist Church with Bro. Leon Thomas officiating.
Mrs. Isaacs Burial was at IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale.
Mrs. Isaacs was born to Billy and Helen Boyd on Oct. 12, 1953, in Cameron. She was the oldest of five siblings.
She attended Rockdale public schools graduating in 1972 and attended Blinn College in Brenham with a band scholarship.
Later she moved to Mt. Pleasant and was employed by Titus County Hospital for several years, then Dr. Troyce Williams and Dr. Paul Meriwether for 21 years.
Mrs. Isaacs moved to Fairfield and worked for Edward Jones Investments for 26 years.
She was a faithful Baptist for 32 years.
She was blessed with a kidney transplant in 2006 with a near perfect match and was an avid organ donor supporter.
Mrs. Isaacs never had any children but considered her nieces and nephews as her own.
She loved to cook and entertain family and friends.
Mrs. Isaacs was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Helen Boyd; and stepson Wesley Isaacs.
Survivors are her husband of 26 years, Dennis Isaacs; siblings Stephanie and Chuck Whitehurst, Deana and David Lesco, Eddie and Susan Boyd, Monty Boyd; nieces and nephews Willie Boyd, Waylon and Jordan Boyd, Ryan and Angie Blacklock, Sheri and Todd Moebes, Austin Boyd, Elliott McIntyre, Emily and Patrick Spencer, Elyse Lesco, Whitley Boyd; grandnieces and nephews Parker Blacklock, Kaylyn-Ray Spencer, Bradley Spencer, Everett McIntyre, Presli Moebes, Kadon Moebes, Keeli Moebes; stepdaughter Melissa Isaacs; stepson Jason and Heather Isaacs; step-grandson Cooper Isaacs and two step-granddaughters, Faith Rodriguez and Nevaeh Rodriguez.
Pallbearers were Austin Boyd, Willie Boyd, Waylon Boyd, Elliott McIntyre, Ryan Blacklock and Jason Isaacs.
